Annakut is when people prepare a variety of Bhog to present to Lord Krishna. Idols of God are washed in the milk and dressed in new garments and adorned with jewelry as well. At that point, the puja is performed through the customary prayers, Bhog, and aarti.
The festival is celebrated throughout India by decorating the temples of Lord Krishna and many events are organized by the people and after puja the traditional puja the food is distributed among the people known as Prasad. People are being blessed by Lord Krishna by having prasad.
